As the first private university approved by the Malaysian government, Multimedia University adheres to the strictest requirements for a high-quality degree. A study by Gartner and MSC Malaysia found that Multimedia University is among the top five universities preferred by major ICT players for graduate employment, a testament to the quality of its academicians, curriculum, student development programmes and solid reputation with the industries.

The landscape of Internationalisation weaves around the global partnership with universities in many parts of the world and for which the International Relations Office facilitates the student mobility journey together with the stakeholders in pursuit of enriching internationalisation activities. Multimedia University has built strong ties with more than 80 Universities in respect of academic and research collaborations.
As of now, the university has established an excellent climate for collaboration in respect of the international exchange mobility programme as well as internships and many other areas of mutual cooperation with local and international institutions.

QS World University Rankings is an annual publication of university rankings by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). Multimedia University falls within the Top 200 QS Asia University Ranking 2019 due to its holistic education and excellent academic reputation.
Multimedia University has bagged the rankings as the 34th-best university in the ASEAN region and is listed among the top few universities in Malaysia.

Student Accommodation
Application is open to all students; priority will be given to new undergraduates. There are four 5-storey hostel blocks; 250 rooms for each block for twin sharing and triple sharing

Application Process
The first step to begin your university admission application is to prepare the following documents:
- Passport
- School Results
- English Language Certification
You must scan your documents from a proper scanner and ensure all details are clearly visible. Improperly scanned, blurred or cropped documents will not be accepted and will lead to delays or rejections.
Once your documents are ready, you can head over to the application page here and fill up the requested information and upload the documents.
Once the application has been submitted, you will receive an email confirmation to verify your application submission. When the application is verified, it will be placed on a cue and assigned to an admissions advisor for processing.
