The Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science with a specialism in Data Analytics at Asia Pacific University (APU) is a three-year program designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in computer science, focusing on data analytics.
The curriculum is structured to provide a solid foundation in programming, mathematical, and algorithmic skills, along with specialized modules in data analytics. In the first year, students acquire fundamental IT skills, including computer architecture, operating systems, networking, and databases, along with an introduction to digital thinking and innovation.
The second year delves deeper into data analytics, focusing on data structures, algorithmics, and data management. Students gain technical knowledge in data analytics, including business intelligence systems and data mining.
In third year Students will make use of their previous studies and industrial experience to extend their familiarity in the field of computer science and to refine their personal and professional development. Students will move further into the focus on advanced analytics through business analytics and intelligence modules.
