The Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with Honours at Sunway University is a 4-year full-time program designed to equip students with the skills to address contemporary engineering challenges, focusing on the Grand Challenges for Engineering and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs).
The curriculum emphasizes project-based learning, where students will Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate (CDIO) at least four engineering systems throughout their degree, with a minimum of two projects based on real-life industry challenges. Students will also be trained to utilize current Industry 4.0 tools and software, such as 3-D Printing, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Finite Element Method.
