The Master of Applied Behaviour Analysis at Sunway University is a postgraduate programme focused on the theory and practice of applied behaviour analysis. It prepares graduates to analyse and modify behaviour through evidence-based principles, with a strong emphasis on professional standards and supervised practice. The course is positioned around behavioural assessment, intervention, and ethical conduct, and it is the first and only programme of its kind in Southeast Asia at Sunway University.
Learning combines academic study with practical training. Students develop their understanding of behaviour change applications, measurement, identification and assessment, then apply that knowledge through research projects and supervised placements. The course also supports work with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism, while building the skills needed to design, implement, and evaluate behaviour interventions in real settings.
