The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Theatre Production at Sunway University is a comprehensive 3-year full-time program that immerses students in the dynamic practice of contemporary theatre-making. The curriculum encompasses performance, directing, devising, design, and production management, all underpinned by critical studies of history, context, and theory.
Students explore theatre production in an increasingly digital world, developing leadership, innovation, self-sustainability, and arts entrepreneurship skills. The program is delivered by experienced theatre practitioners and academicians, offering a blend of lectures, practical studio sessions, tutorials, guided research, fieldwork, and field trips. Over three years, students participate in five productions and complete a 12-week industrial placement. Graduates receive dual certification from Sunway University and Lancaster University, UK.
