The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at IMU is a comprehensive five-year medical programme that trains students to become competent, ethical, and compassionate doctors. Delivered in two phases—pre-clinical and clinical—the curriculum integrates foundational medical sciences with early clinical exposure, community service, and a strong emphasis on evidence-based medicine. Students undertake Semesters 1–5 at the IMU Bukit Jalil campus, with Semesters 6–10 completed at one of IMU’s clinical campuses. The programme also offers the option to transfer to a Partner Medical School for clinical training. Upon completion, graduates are eligible for housemanship and can pursue specialisation in various medical fields both in Malaysia and internationally.
