Learning begins from Year 1 in real clinical settings and simulation, with an emphasis on applying basic science to wellness, disease prevention, and patient care.
The programme builds interviewing and examination skills before students move into clinical training at IMU’s clinical campuses and partner medical schools. Teaching is delivered in English, with Bahasa Malaysia also required because of its role in community health work and medical practice in Malaysia.
