The Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) at the University of Cyberjaya is a four-year degree focused on preparing students for professional practice in pharmacy. It combines pharmaceutical science with patient-facing care across community, primary care, hospital and clinical settings, while also introducing newer areas of practice that broaden the field. The programme begins practical exposure from Year 1, giving students early experience of how pharmacy knowledge is applied in real healthcare environments.
Learning is hands-on and practice-oriented, with laboratory sessions, simulated exercises, field visits and industrial training. Students also gain placement experience in pharmaceutical companies, healthcare clinics, community pharmacies and Ministry of Health settings. with core pharmacy training, the course encourages wider awareness of emerging specialisms and develops the interpersonal and professional skills expected of graduates entering the sector.
