Overview
The Master of Science in Molecular Medicine at IMU is a cutting-edge programme designed to provide advanced understanding of molecular biology and its application in diagnosing, treating, and preventing human diseases. Available in both full-time (1 year) and part-time (2–6 years) study modes, the programme equips students with expertise in genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics, cancer biology, and molecular therapeutics. With a strong research component and industry-relevant curriculum, the programme prepares graduates for roles in academic research, clinical laboratories, diagnostics, and the biotechnology or pharmaceutical sectors, or to pursue further doctoral studies.

| Bachelor’s Degree | A Bachelor Degree in related discipline with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the University’s Senate. A Bachelor Degree in related discipline with a minimum CGPA of 2.50, but not meeting CGPA 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment. A Bachelor’s Degree in the field or related fields or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not meeting CGPA of 2.50 can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant field and rigorous internal assessment. |
