Overview
The MSc and PhD in Medical and Health Sciences at IMU are fully research-based postgraduate programmes designed for graduates and professionals seeking to deepen their expertise in biomedical, clinical, or health-related disciplines. Students will undertake original research in specialised fields such as oncology, genetics, microbiology, environmental health, digital health, and more. The MSc programme can be completed in 1–4 years, while the PhD programme spans 2–6 years (full-time). With guidance from experienced supervisors, students contribute to evidence-based advancements in health sciences, preparing them for careers in academia, research institutions, healthcare, and the biotech industry.

| Bachelor’s Degree | A Bachelor’s Degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by the University’s Senate. A Bachelor’s Degree with a CGPA between 2.50-2.74 may be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment. A Bachelor’s Degree with a CGPA between 2.00-2.49 may be accepted with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and rigorous internal assessment. Note: Applicants with relevant experience will be given priority. |
