Overview
The Master of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nottingham Malaysia is a four-year full-time programme designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and skills in mechanical engineering.
The curriculum encompasses core areas such as mechanical design, manufacturing processes, material science, thermofluids, and advanced analytical techniques. Students engage in practical problem-solving through hands-on projects, including a significant Group Design and Make module in Year 3 and an individual research project in Year 4.
The programme is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE, UK), the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED, UK), and the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), meeting the academic requirements for Chartered Engineer and Professional Engineer status globally.
